Fifty years ago, the anti-vibration insulation systems that were used in ceilings were cork blocks, grooved rubber or compact felt. These provided a very limited insulation when it comes to performance and work frequency.

Nowadays, and with the aim of creating a box in box insulation system or one with independent coatings from the original structure, modern and high performance elements emerge, denominated "hangers". They are specially designed to obtain an optimal performance in a wide range of frequencies, as well as a specific deflection for each particular load.

We have got two different models, one is formed by a neoprene massif block with two possible hardnesses, called HG, and another one that has a higher acoustic performance and bending, formed by a neoprene base, a metallic supporting rod threaded to the base and a metal spring, assembled in a reinforced metal box with fixing holes and a bolt. 

The ASTS SBW35 wall connectors are anti-vibration devices used to prevent vibrations transmitted through walls.

By using them with the correct spacing, vibrations and possible wall movement are considerably reduced. We recommend to leave a 1.20mts space, both vertically and horizontally. These devices are not designed to withhold direct vertical effort.

Application possibilities

The response of the SBW35 devices is directly connected with mass, rigidity and vibration direction of the material to which they are attached.
In most cases, the response to a frequency that is around 15Hz shows to be more effective than average. On the other hand, if mass and rigidity of the materials surpasses the recommended values, the response diminishes proportionally to the load. 

KID PADS vibration dampers are neoprene cones with a hardness punctual, capable of absorbing low frequencies in the ground and withstanding large weight loads. They have a height of 50mm, with diameter 38 mm top and 45 mm base. They must be located in line with perimeter partition (structure axis), and then every 60x60 cm in checkered shape.

Among them it is advisable to fill your space free with mineral or glass wool in 50 mm thickness, and per envelope of them, we recommend using a double phenolic plate in 18mm thickness. If you want to increase the final insulation, you must add a 3.2mm Sound block barrier sheet between the double plate
phenolic.
